Story of Reservation part 1
One day the teacher was teaching as usual and Every student was studying peacefully
Suddenly the school help employee enters the classroom
Everyone started looking at it
The students were eager to know that the help employee would come to the classroom to announce holiday
The helper took some of my friends with her
Saying that a student with SC / ST / OBC should come with me
Thoughts started coming to my mind .... would his mother have come to pick him up, would he have got any prize, would he have quarreled with someone, would he have participated in some screen. A storm of questions was running through my mind
At last, the whirlwind of my thoughts came to an end seeing my friend
He brought a check with him
I asked my friend, did your father give this check to you
he replied no
I asked again in my curiosity, did your grandfather or great-grandfather give this check to the school?
he again replied no
He himself was unaware of why he had been given the check, but he was very happy that he had received the check and He was thinking in his mind that he has got a reward for some of his work
And the vortex of thoughts began to swirl in my mind again with double intensity
Why didn't I get a check?
Now my curiosity turned to my seriousness
Understanding this incident was beyond my ability to think
I thought of getting help from my teacher
The teacher said that your friend belongs to an unscheduled tribe so he got this check
I asked to know what Scheduled Tribes is?
The Scheduled Caste (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes (STs) are officially designated groups of people in India. The terms are recognized in the Constitution of India and the groups are designated in one or other of the categories.
